Qi Gong Classes (Monday and Wednesdays)
Description:
The gentle, fluid movements of Qi Gong (pronounced “che” gong) help to decrease stress and increase flexibility and energy. It even helps with chronic physical and mental conditions, from joint pain to depression!
Qi Gong, which originated in China 5,000 years ago and has roots in Taoism, means working with energy. It benefits everyone, from seniors to athletes.
Like Yoga, Qi Gong combines stretches, strengthening postures, flowing movements and meditation, however Qi Gong movements are also generally more fluid and subtle in nature, and typically easier to do.
The movements activate your Qi (known as prana to yogis), giving you a sense of fresh life force energy softly pulsating through your body, mind and spirit.
Join Holly Padove in one of her classes to experience why millions of people worldwide practice these therapeutic movements.
